Being in Milano city centre the second time this year, I decided to stay in the Regina instaed of the Ariston, further down the road. This hotel feels a more comfortable as the Ariston, but staying on the 5 th floor under the roof makes it a "hot experience" For some reason anything is too small for my almost 200... More

We stayed in Milan for only one night. We found the Regina Hotel to be well located for walking to the Duomo, "La Ultima Cena", shopping and some nice restaurants. Upon arrival, the person at the front desk was very unhelpful. He minimally answered each question that I asked, but with nothing more. He didn't volunteer any information including the... More

I discovered that hotels in Milan are pricey, even for a 3-4 star rating. I chose this hotel for it's proximity (well at least near enough /walking distance) to the il doumo Milan, and tram lines outside the hotel doors. Again, I wasn't disappointed at all! The hotel itself is by the street, an old establishment, but very homey. My... More

Stayed here for two nights at the end of our holiday. It was the most expensive of the hotels we stayed in (the others were in Paris, Florence, Rome and a converted castle in Gargonza) and while it was fine, the others were a much better experience even at a much cheaper price. Good points: 1) Large enough room, 2)... More

This small hotel is located in an interesting area of Milan, with two tram lines out front that will get you quickly to the Duomo (also walkable) and the Castello/Brera zones. Very clean with a very accommodating, friendly staff. The breakfast is superior and the espressos/ cappuccinos are so much better than the usual dreck. I left an envelope with... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way to Lake Como. The hotel had a great bed and was centrally located to sights in Milan. Very handy to Cordona rail station if you take the train from Malpensa Airport, The room was very quiet and the breakfast was fine. A good find.

The best thing about this decent value for money hotel is its location. It's twenty minutes' walk from Cadorna rail station (direct trains to Malpensa airport): barely ten minutes from Sant Ambrogio metro (direct line to the Central Station and airport buses); and about fifteen minutes to the Duomo and main shopping streets. The are plenty of bars and restaurants... More

I'm a terrible hotel sleeper, usually tossing and turning and not getting enough shut eye. But not in this case. Admittedly I was exhausted after a very early start the same day but I slept really well at the Regina. The room (409) was probably the quietest I've ever had with zero external noise at all. So I would definitely... More

We have stayed at many hotels/B&B's etc. recommended by Karen Brown in the US/UK and Europe. We were not disappointed in this instance. The Regina Hotel is ideally located such that we were able to walk to Milan's many beautiful, historic churches including the Duomo, Sant Ambrogio Basilica, San Lorenzo alle Colonne Basilica among others. The many famous works of... More

i have been in this hotel for holiday and was really nice. The most important thing to underline is the location, in effect is just 10 minutes walking to the Duomo. The receptionist were really friendly and the helped us and explained something about the city. We had the train to return to Florence very late and they were kind... More
