This is a well-run, affordable hotel with a nice old-fashioned feel to it. The hotel is an old building and when it was refurbished the owners have taken trouble to maintain the charm and the 'typical Milanese family environment' of the original, using antique furniture and finishings throughout the hotel. The tram stop for the No. 2 tram is right... More

A supremely fine taste for forniture characterizes the common hall, the rooms and every corner of the hotel. Rooms get tidied up and cleaned efficiently. Breakfast is served with a classical music background. The reception team is always ready for a good laugh which makes the ambiance fun and relaxed. More

Close to tram. Clean with character. Nice rooms with new renovated bathrooms. TV hair dryer everything available. Space in bathroom not very large but decent for one person. Courteous staff. More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights after a 24 hour flight from Australia. We were pretty tired the first night but had a great day in Milan the next day before heading off to Budapest for our river cruise to Amsterdam. The hotel, really a B&B nowadays, is in a very old building that has been nicely... More

We stayed here for one night as a stopover in Milan on our way home. This is a great value for money hotel with a quaint feel to it, and was ideal for our needs. As ever, we're happy with a clean room, good shower and a decent breakfast, and this didn't disappoint! The lady running the breakfast room was... More

This hotel is excellent value. The room and amenities were all very clean. The tram stop (no.2) is right outside of hotel and takes you to the Duomo in 10 minutes. Sara was a very hospitable host who made us feel welcome on our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with great cappuccinos made by Sara. The staff were very helpful... More

The staff were very nice, polite and friendly, which made my trip much more pleasant. As others have mentioned, nice funishings. Clean, efficient place. A city hotel, so a bit noisy with windows open, but there's air conditioning. About 5 minutes from the metro, maybe 25 minute walk to the Duomo. I paid 80 euro a night for a single... More

First, I would NOT call the breakfast "very poor" :). It was enough to fill me, and it was good-tasting, and variable. Fresh fruit was a nice touch. The single room on the 1st floor was spacious and well-furnished, the bathroom looked newly refurbished, the towels were changed daily, and the small refrigerator was very convenient. The window was to... More

I chose this hotel based on the reviews on this site and I must say it was not as good as described here. We chose a triple room, and paid only 75 euro/night, which was a great deal. I think we used Bookings.com. Firstly, the hotel is very pretty, old style with lots of old and beautiful decorations, paintings etc.... More

We recently stayed at Hotel San Guido and it was easy to get to from the train station. It is a 5min walk from the Garibaldi train station, one stop from Central. The outside of the Hotel of the Hotel looked quite old and there was graffiti on the front wall, and we were a little worried. When we checked... More
