Right behind San Marco Piazza, this is a well placed hotel for doing the whole of San Marco and beyond. Staff are very friendly. The room was good with a nice sized bathroom. There's free wifi in public areas (although not the most reliable). The bed was reasonably comfortable but the pillows were a bit hard. Bring ear plugs though... More

Cute, well located, fair priced hotel. The service was very nice, with one exception: the brown-skin attendant from the morning shift, he is not a nice person. Very unkind. My wife was struggling to speak Italian with him, trying her best to ask for a restaurant direction, and the guy interrupted her and said "per favore" ("please"), just because she... More

very nice hotel, very convenient in centre of Venice, good quality price and service, very stylish decoration in style of ancient Venice, pleasant staff which is extremely helpful and well informed about happenings in the extraordinary city with a special charme of life without cars, lorries and buses, but vaporettos on canals instead. . . . . I booked two rooms at this hotel for my parents and their granddaughters. The two main reasons for booking this hotel were the location and the elevator access to the rooms. Not many hotels in Venice have one and my mom can’t go up and down stairs. The location can’t be beat; however the hotel is not a 3-star hotel.... More

We booked this hotel to be close to The San marco Square. The receptionist was friendly. The lobby looked clean but very old and needed some fixing. (A door way was fixed by duct tape.) But they put us in probably one of the best rooms in the square. They helped with out baggage and took us out of the... More

When I stayed there a few Years ago,the Hotel was a lower end priced in the Middle of Venice Hotel. No great views but if you don't fancy walking more than a few feet to the main square then its ideal. It was clean, with a lift, marble in places decent enough hotel. Yes I remember a few mosquitos-the norm in Venice. More

It's hard to beat the location which is just a few steps from St. Mark's Square. We were on the 1st floor the room was not very big and extremly hot because the air con was not switched on we were informed at reception that it was only used during the summer months, however they switched off the heating to our... It's hard to beat the location which is just a few steps from St. Mark's Square! There are a whole lot of restaurants moments away. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. We went there during the carnival, so when we did (finally) try to sleep, there was a lot of noise in the room from the street. You... More

PRO: Greaaaaat location. Close to St Mark's Square! The filipino guy at the front desk was so helpful. My fiancé and I would leave our room in the middle of the night to take night photos...although, there is another reason why we would have to leave in the middle of the night... CONS: IT WAS RIDICULOUSLY HOT DURING ALL HOURS... More
