We picked this hotel because the price for a grand canal room view was affordable compared to others. The view is nice, room is suitable for a short stay. Shower head needed to be replaced, did not spray correctly therefore not enough water pressure. The water would leak out from around the shower curtain and pool on the bathroom floor... More

We somehow lucked out and got the only room with a balcony. The view of the Grand Canal was FABULOUS!!! Location is PERFECT too! The location of this hotel takes the guess work and headache out of trying NOT to get lost in Venice. From the bus station and/or car parking, take the smaller, hidden bridge to the right NOT the big one in front of you that goes to the train station side. wonderful hotel in Venice close to the train station. So easy to get to, and if you are traveling without a car, not that far to lug your bags to!! The staff was wonderful and helpful and the breakfast was great. Wish we stayed more than one night here! More
