Alexandro,Natasa and roxanna were fabulous. Breakfast was wonderful,the rooms so Venetian and the water taxi there was the hit of our trip. Everything was "perfecto". Close to shopping and dining. More

The hotel is opposite the railway station, look for a porter to help you carry your bags across the bridge , which have steps and are quite steep. Hotel rooms are very clean , nicely decorated, location is good for ferry. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend More

Location is best things about this hotel which is bang opposite the railway station (come out of the station and it right in front), just a short walk to water taxi which will take all across Venice, Murano. The Hotel Canal Grande is excellent in almost every way. The rooms and bathrooms are somewhat smaller compared to other hotels in the area. Im a regular visitor to Venice and have normally stopped in hotels that face the lagoon, rather than the Grand Canal. I deviated from my previous bookings as my previous excellent stays were in hotels that were way down the list in rankings for Venetian hotels; so trip advisor rules the head and that increasingly im finding, is a mistake.... Not only is the hotel beautifully decorated, with flawlessly functional amenities and extremely comfortable rooms, but it is very conveniently located near a vaporeto stop to allow rapid access to all Venice's sights.
