Along with my wife and 3 children we booked 2 rooms in this hotel for 2 nights last June. We found the hotel difficult to find at first, but once we did find it, it had a brilliant location. It had a great little drinks terrace over looking the Grand Canal. After busy days exploring the sights in Venice we... More

We arrived in Venice after a tour of Europe. I called the hotel to check if our room was available and easiest way to get to hotel. Was informed a private boat taxi would be best as it would drop us at the hotel and truth be told even with the expense it was a nice and comfortable way to... More

Dear Sir/Madame, first of all, we are sorry about any inconvenience we caused you but we'd like to clarify a couple of things: At the time you called us, we were still working on the problem and we didn't know if we could solve it or not...it was not the case to alarm you or any of the other clients... You do not go to Venice to spend much time in your hotel room , which is just as well with this hotel. And you should not stay in this hotel if you are claustrophobic. And suspend your ideas of 4 star. I have not been to Venice before, but it is clear that you have to make a lot... More

The best thing about this hotel is its location. I loved that you had to walk down alleyways to find it and unless you were heading to this hotel you'd have no reason to walk that way, it really was a hidden gem with a wonderful traditional italian feel to it. We stayed in a room overlooking the canal and... More

It is placed at three stops from train station. From the stop to the hotel it takes 2min and only two bridges. All this is great! The room eas perfectly clean and cosy. I did not lime the tipical venetian tourist stile, but it as neat and tidy. Breakfas was pretty good. But the best part is to have it... More

We (me, wife and 20 months old son) were here in April 2012. The hotel is a nice old building located in the S.Croce quarter on the Canal Grande, not far from the Rialto bridge. We had one of the rooms on the ground floor, which was large but with low ceiling and dimly lit (it was facing the opposite... More

Completely worth every penny and the other 6 people with me would attest to this. Everything was top class. Breakfast, rooms, staff, location - name it! It's on the water, there's a taxi station for the hotel (not every hotel has this! :) ). What a gorgeous location. Fantastic rooms with superb chandeliers and good bathrooms with a tub and... More

Needed to find accommodation for 1 night and via the Internet found a room for 72 EUR. It's a wonderful hotel overlooking the Grand Canal and situated close to the fish market, shops and Rialto Bridge. A decent buffet breakfast is served and if you're an early riser secure yourself a table for two on the terrace and follow the... More

I stayed just one night over the Carnevale period in 2012. I made the booking for a single room a few months prior, paying around EU130. My friend was not so lucky and paid over EU200 just a week later, so it pays to book ahead! The hotel is fairly hard to locate initially, but easy once you've been there... More
