Friends stayed at this lovely hotel 2 minutes from St. Mark's Square, so we decided to try it, and we were not disappointed. Location is fabulous. We were also lucky enough to get a room (with 2 twin beds are requested) overlooking the Grand Canal - so much people watching! It was hard to leave the room, but enjoyable to... More

I booked a room with a view of the Laguna for my parents for two nights and they were not disappointed. The room (104) was a good size, tastefully decorated with a four poster bed. The bathroom was a good size also. My parents loved the ambience - the entrance way seems almost to be decorated like some classic liner... More

Like most other reviewers, I feel that the Hotel is perfectly located. However it cannot be described as a 4* hotel as its amenities are very limited. We stayed in room 211 which overlooked a service access way and was subjected to all of the noise that can be associated with it well into the early hours. The room was... More

The location of this hotel was fabulous. You are right in the middle of everything. Quick walks everyhwere and ferry stop right in front. My room was standard European size (small) but didn't seem cramped. Was very clean and had all the amenities one needs. Staff was helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was good as well. Was very reasonably... More

We stayed one night at this hotel. It is in a great location on the Grand Canal and a two minute walk to St. Marks Square and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to Rialto Bridge. The staff was excellent. They spoke english and bent over backwards to help you. The concierge was great. He was very knowledgeable about... More

We didn't stay in the hotel but visited the restaurant regularly as we were staying near by. This was most definitely the friendliest place we visited, (and we visited it several times). Prices were not cheap but were very reasonable compared to others in the same location and the quality of the food was excellent. Location is great - right... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week stay for a 'special' birthday. The location is excellent as both on the waterfront, within 50 metres of the San Zacarria stop for the Vaporetto and about 200 metres from San Marco so if you are looking for a hotel ideally placed then this is ideal. The room we had was not... More

No one can really express what it means to move about in Venice. I can say there are no vehicles on this island, but until you get here you finally understand that you walk everywhere, and I mean everywhere...up and over bridges, and down the bridges....stairs and steps, you won't understand truly until you come here. This not a handicap... More

Hotel was in a great location, steps away from the San Zaccaria Waterbus. I couldnt fault the breakfast, fills you up just fine. Bacon, scrambled egg, meats (parma ham, ham, salami, mortadela) and cheese. Pastries and cakes etc. Cappuccino for breakfast was great but you only get the one cup. I noticed many people getting jugs of something. This was... More
