Since I was arriving by train and dragging some serious luggage, this hotel's location around the corner from the railway station was a big plus; pretty much every vaporetto (waterbus) stops at the station as well. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing me w a much-needed iron on the final day before boarding a cruise ship. Be aware that... More

Very, very handy for the railway station, 800 metres level walk on easy tarmac. Location is still fine for all sightseeing, being near a main Vaporetto stop, and only 20 mins walk from St Marks anyway. Lots of eating places and shops within 5 mins walk. Up a narrow side alley which looks a bit uninviting at first, but it... More

At the moment of checking in, they says there is "an error" with us and other clients, the hotel is FULL. They say even without excuses to go to another hotel in the vicinity, they booked there a room for us. The other Hotel was not as the previous, dirty an old and there not even know that our room... Excellent choice, very central, great location. 5 minutes walk from the central trucking (Piazza Roma) by the new bridge architectural and 2 min to the stop vaporeto aquabus, optimum value for money. The hotel is simple, practical and cozy rooms, some recently renovated ... breakfast is not very varied, but the price is very good. I recommend! More

This was our second visit to both Venice and Stella Alpina. The hotel is extremely well situated less than 5 minutes, even with dragging heavy bags, from the train station. It is in a small side street which is quiet. Access to the vaporetto stops is also probably a 2-4 minute walk. To walk to where the airport vaporetto leaves... More

It was so nice not having to walk far from the train station to this hotel. Keep your eyes peeled though or you might miss the super skinny street leading to the hotel. My room was nice and clean. My favourite part of the hotel apart from the location was the super cute outdoor sitting area just of of the... More

Near the Railway station and very close where the transfers leave you, it's easy to reach. In front you have the vapporeto's and a bridge to the center. Very good More
