We stayed here for two nights. The location is great. It was not too far from the Santa Maria del Giglio nor Sant'Angelo vaporetto stops, and it is very close to La Fenice and St. Mark's Square. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. We would recommend this hotel and we would stay here again.

The hotel is comfortable, all staff were very helpful, and the location is perfect . Our rooms were lovely with comfortable beds, and communal spaces well stocked with books. A very calm, warm and pleasant oasis in what for us was a cold and wet city visit! Breakfast also was very good - so nothing to criticise here at all.

Our family loved this Hotel which was really more like a bed and breakfast. We felt like we were sharing a room in someones home. Novecento typically is not the kind of place we would choose to stay but we thought it would be fun to experience Venice in a different way. Glad we did! The staff went out of... More

We absolutely loved the Novecento, from the moment we arrived to a warm welcome and offers of help - with luggage, with directions, with a recommendation and reservation for lunch. Oh, and a cup of tea. The room was lovely - cosy, comfortable, had everything we needed. The bed was great and we slept brilliantly. The location is ideal for... More

We have stayed at the Novecento three times and would never consider staying anywhere else in Venice. We aren't treated as guests there, but rather like family. The staff is so gracious and kind and are genuinely concerned about ensuring we are well fed, happy and as enthusiastic about their city as they are, even in the cold and wet.... More

Would recommend a stay here if you are looking for a truly wonderful experience! We managed to use the hotel as a base and a hearty breakfast put us in good sted for the day! We managed to cover the whole of the magnificant islands in Four day, truly magical!

Just returned from a four day break in Venice. How lucky we were to have chosen to stay at this hotel, so thank you to Trip Advisor and the other comments left previously. The location was perfect, quiet but not far from St Marks Square, the quieter zones of Venice and all canal transport. The breakfast breads were gorgeous, room... More

An excellent place, in a really good location. a Short walk from St Marks Square, Plenty of restaurants around, but in the quieter part of the island Brilliant staff and the breakfast was good. Very Nice rooms in a beautiful hotel.. Worth a stay.....

We stayed for five enjoyable nights. This hotel is superb in every respect. Do not expect grand views of the City; this is not a converted palace but a small intimate hotel providing service which could not be bettered by the hotels on the Grand Canal. The staff are a delight; if you ask for advice, it is sensible and constructive,... My wife and I have stayed here 4 times since they've opened. We have stayed at 4 other hotels in Venice and have found that we feel most at home at the Novecento. We have considered either renting an apartment or checking out other hotels or B & B's, but despite the cost, we find ourselves drawn back for the... More
