Ca' del Brocchi is a tiny hotel in the Dorsoduro sestiere of Venice, very close to the Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Set in a residential area, this is Venice at its less crowded and touristic. If you arrive in (or leave) Venice by air, the hotel is very close to the Zattere stop in the Alilaguna boat service... ca' del brocchi is a really nice little hotel. it has very good location, friendly staff and reasonable price. totally recommended for families. it was a bit chilly in the rooms, and the heating system was not allowing increases over a certain temperature. the staff is not available after 7pm, and that makes it a bit difficult at times. but... Our last night in Venice, having returned from Ravenna, we decided to try out a different hotel. We found it to be very nice, but it cost more than the hotel we had stayed in over near San Marco, and there were a couple of drawbacks. Our room was somewhat dark but spacious and comfortable. There's no elevator, but we... More

Located off the backstreets of Accademia this small hotel proved to be a good bet for our stay in Venice for the Biennale. Halfway between Accademia bridge and Zattere a single boat ride brought us down to the Giardini and close to the Arsenale. Hotel well located for transport on both sides with lots of restaurants and bars at Zattere.... More

With only 8 rooms, all the bells and whistles of a large hotel are missing. However, the rooms are beautiful and clean. The mini bar was stocked and reasonible and there is free wifi. Although there is no one at the front desk in the evening, we were given a key and 2 emergency numbers. The breakfast was typical Venice... More

This is really more of a small guest house than hotel, when we arrived there was nobody at reception,we also were told there would be no reception after 6pm or before 8am the following morning, but were given telephone numbers (though this was not answered in the morning). If you are ok with this sort of service, then the location... More

Located in Dorsoduro, a quiet area of Venice, but easily accessible to sights by foot and vaporetto. This small inn is attractively decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was minimal, staff was friendly and helpful, room air conditioned. Triple room was actually a double with a small cot added after we arrived.

A well priced Hotel, although we were put in a double room with an extra bed when we had actually booked and paid for a triple room ( the cost difference was 2 euros so not worth making a fuss ). The rooms were beautiful, very clean, air con, wifi, minibar, tv. View over gardens. The bathrooms were nice and... More

We visited together with our kids aged 5 and 7 and enjoyed every minute of our stay in a 2-bedrooms spacious flat with kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast richer than we expected for Italy. Very nice and helpful owners who were able to suggest dining place suitable for our kids. Great stay.

This is a very nice place to stay and I would definitely recommend it. It is located in a safe and quieter part of town but close enough to walk to nice restaurants and shops and is not as busy as the Rialto area but nice. We stayed here for one night pre cruise. We took the Allilaguna (waterbus) Zattere... More
