The Foscari Palace was a great hotel. We arrived at the hotel's private dock in our water taxi, were helped into the lobbe and brought immediately to our room. The hotel is light and airy with large well appointed rooms. Loved Venice and the hotel. Can't wait to go back. More

Took the vaporetto from the Main stop near the train station. It stops at the Ca d'oro stop which is only 2 minuits to the hotel. Great location in the center of Venice. Very nice room. No view, but hey we weren't in the room too much anyway. They had a very nice roof top deck overlooking the Grand Canal... More

Location is great. Right on Grand Canal; gondola crossing to Rialto market right there. Vaporetto Ca d'Or is only one building away. Easy walk or quick vaporetto ride from train station. Small deck, one table, on waterfront for cappucino or cocktail. Lobby was quite comfortable and nicely decorated. So was small bar, although no one ever there (no patrons, no... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel from 9th to 13th March 2012 and loved it from start to finish. As in a previous review, we also had room 306 and it was great. Only small problem was that the mechanism for the sink plug was not working so it had to be moved manually. Had a small issue... More

I stayed at the Foscari Palace early February, pre-carnival time. The hotel is beautiful and could not be faulted, everything was perfect and so warm !. My room 306 was a classic double, very spacious and quiet and overlooked Campo Santa Sofia, with a side view of the Grand Canal. The room was lovely and warm considering the -6 degree... More

My double room was spacious and modern, not much of an antique or palace "feel" but quite comfortable by North American standards. Bathtub fixtures are something out of Star Wars, but I was able to get clean. The price -- under $100 U.S. dollars -- was definitely a bargain for Venice. Hotel values are outstanding in January in this usually-pricey... More

I was just staying for 2 days so wanted somewhere reasonably nice, central, and economical. The location is idea...about 2 minutes walk from the nearest water bus stop, just round the corner...and no steps! Its just off a fairly main drag of shops and bars etc, meaning you can easily find the hotel late at night, but not at all... More

Whenever my wife & I visit Venice, we rent an apartment for a couple of weeks in order to save money. However, we always book a hotel for one night before we move in to our place. One year while we were on a vaporetto going down the Grand Canal, we noticed the Foscari Palace across from the fish market.... More

The Foscari Palace is a beautiful small hotel overlooking the Grand Canal. My wife and I loved it so much, we took all the adult kids this time! With a very large room (409) centered over the canal, and a connecting room (402) next door, we had all the space we needed! The hotel has beautiful marble floors, high ceilings,... More
