We booked the king-size bedroom with the balcony, and beautiful new bathroom--with tub, which combines the antiquity of Venice with modern conveniences. Spent 2 nights here and couldn't have asked for more. Location is very close to St Marks Square and also the Giglio water boat stop. We stayed here in April 2012 and could not have been happier with our room and the first class hospitality from Eleonora. The breakfast was amazing and rooms were spacious. Al Teatro is perfectly located within the maze of Venice. It's very easy to find, and Eleanora is a gracious host. She cooked us a lovely breakfast and had great advice. The room was big and overlooked a charming little canal with a bridge. What's not to LOVE!? Stay here. It's perfect. More
