This B&B is an absolute gem hidden in the back streets only 5 minutes walk from St. Mark's and about 10 from the Rialto Bridge. All the tourist attractions and vaporetto stops are within easy walking distance. Lorenzo is a first class host meeting guests at the vaporetto stop and guiding them through the alleyways to the B&B, he also... More

Lorenzo was the most charming host! SO happy he picked us up from the vaporetto stop as I was confused following him to the B&B, and like a gentlemen he carried my very heavy suitcase all the way there. He was so helpful with directions, explaining how to travel in Venice and recommended restaurants however I was shocked to hear... More

I will echo all the other positive reviews. We stayed only one night at Ai Tagliapietra before embarking on a cruise. Thank goodness Lorenzo met us at the vaporetto stop, there is no way we would have found his place otherwise!! The room was spacious, bed was comfortable and breakfast croissants and coffee were excellent. Free WiFi was much appreciated.... More

Al Tagliapietra B&B certainly put the WOW into our Venetian holiday. After booking Lorenzo emailed directions on how to get to the San Zaccaria ferry stop and kept in touch via email. On arrival Lorenzo was waiting at the ferry stop and after a short walk through Venice alleyways we were at the B&B. Our room was spacious modern, clean,... More

Lorenzo will pick you up and help you start navigating the streets, you think you will never be able to find it again but you will and if you don't you wander around and get lost it is Venice. The rooms were the biggest my wife and I had of all our B&Bs in Italy and Lorenzo brings you awesome... More

My husband and I stayed at the Ai Tagliapietra B&B last week for 2 nights, and we could not have been more pleased. It was a wonderful stay. Communication surrounding our stay could not have been better. Lorenzo responds to e-mails very quickly - I often felt like I was not keeping up with him! He also sent a confirmation... More

Lorenzo was a great host and provided myself and my friend with all the info we needed. As others have written, when you get to Venice you realize just how difficult it is to navigate the streets and alleyways and we were so thankful that he met us to steer us to the b&b! The room was wonderful and the... More

As everyone has said Lorenzo meets you at the water taxi stop. It's not until you get to Vencie that you understand how helpful this is! We saw people wandering around the back alleys of Venice with suitcases, small maps and almost in tears and we were so greatful to have met Lorenzo. The B&B itself is perfect. It is... More

My husband and I stayed for one night right before embarking on our cruise. Lorenzo is a very helpful and friendly host from the first communication via email to our goodbye minute. As promised he was right at the water bus stop as we disembarked and guided us through the magical narrow corridors of Venice to his home which is... More
