Tucked away in a little courtyard and with only a small sign on the door, the hotel was a little hard to find. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the week I stayed there. It was a great base for exploring all over Venice. The cafe, wine bar, and restaurant in the nearby Campo della Guerra were good, too,

The location is in the middle of the touristy area hence restaurants nearby are mostly overpriced and not particularly good quality. The room itself was quite small (also overpriced) and the service was often abrupt and cold. The Hotel was very very difficult to find as the address it seems to display is not at all where it actually is.

Location was fantastic, as said in all previous reviews. The reception people were rather cold but efficient as far as service is concerned. Poor breakfast variety but good quality of products. Locanda La Bricola is a bit hard to find, even with a Google map print-out, but once you locate it you realise you are in the heart of St. Marco's square.
