This must be the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Our arrival indicated already that we were in for a great week, reception was very warm. The room we had was spacious and clean, looking onto the garden and the pool. The owners, Ludovica and Chiarastella, provided us with usefull tips without being overbearing. Great hospitality. Breakfast included freshly... More

Noone will be disappointed by this gorgeous 16th century Venetian nobleman's villa. It has been beautifully restored in the last thirty years and was a privilige simply to walk into the main giant hallway. The rate was a little high for our budget but the VALUE was magnificent. So looking back on our experience, the place is a bargain. You... More

I spent 3 wonderful nights and days at Villa Sagramoso Sacchetti Relais. We were looking for a quiet place as a base for long daily visits to Verona and its neighborhood. The relais is just 10 minutes from Verona but is immersed in the green of a park with secular trees, a vineyard, and an orchard. The peacefulness is absolute.... More

my brother, my teenage niece, and i all stayed here for one night. we would have gladly stayed a week or more! ludovica and chiarastella are sisters and are wonderfully gracious hosts. they shared with us the history of the villa, from the time it was built 500 years ago to the present, including when their father purchased the villa... We booked this Villa without any prior knowledge or having read any reviews. What a surprise to find this most lavish and maintained Villa with a great history and the friendliest of owners. Relaxation was instant. It's located just outside the beautiful city of Verona and any recommendation made by the owners for place to see, eat and drink were... More

We made a last minute booking for three nights in early-September for ourselves and our teenage son by phoning and speaking to the wonderful Ludovica (one of the two sisters who own and run this family Villa) and we had a fabulous stay. Where does one start in describing this fantastic place as everything about it is so wonderful?!! The... More

Loved our overnight stay - just wish we had stayed for longer. The two sisters who own this property are fabulous, genuinely friendly, helpful and such fun! The setting is perfect - quiet and romantic yet only 15 mins from central Verona. We enjoyed dining at a hillside restaurant that the owners had recommended, and the breakfast the next day... More

4 days and 3 nights spent with the Sagramoso sisters in their beautiful villa were not nearly enough. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel instantly part of the family, treated to the most lavish breakfasts, long afternoons next to the pool, and idylic strolls through the gardens. Ludovica and Chiarastella helped us constantly with brilliant recommendations... More

Villa Sagromoso Sacchetti was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Originally we had planned to make day trips and come back to the hotel just to sleep, but the villa was so spectacular we decided to spend most of our time there to enjoy the wonderful gardens and swimming pool. Ludovica and Chiarastella are the best hosts ever. They... More

Ludovica and Chiarastella warmly welcome you into their home and are more than willing to share their knowledge of the local areas. Their home offers a wonderful base to explore the huge variety that this area offers. We stayed for a week and did something different everyday; from renting a boat in lake garda to a day trip to venice.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
This elegant, monumental, fifteenth century building stands on the flood plains on the right bank of the Adige River in a landscape full of historical importance only 8 km from the centre of Verona. From this dominant position there is a panoramic view of Valpolicella and the heights of the western area of Lessinia.Chiarastella and Ludovica Sagramoso Sacchetti have decided to bring back to life, their ancient Venetian villa, family home and focal point of their agricultural activity so that the atmosphere, traditions and flavours of the land and its past can be rediscovered and the historical heritage of our country can be appreciated. The harmonious colours of the drapery and upholstery in the suites, the classical interiors, the careful attention to detail even in the choice of bed linen, makes each room unique. The Villa is characterized by the warm, exclusive atmosphere of a private home. This care and attention can also be found in the rich breakfast served according to the season and the weather in the dining room or in the garden. Our villa is the ideal starting point to discover our beautiful land and to get to know the culture, the traditions and attractions of some of the most beautiful Italian cities. We are close to Verona, Mantova, Vicenza, Padua, Treviso, Venice, Ferrara and only 13 kms away from the well known Lake of Garda. Each corner of this wonderful area has churches, monuments, stately homes and museums to be discovered and of course a wine and food tradition with a particularly rich variety of specialities to enjoy. ... more   less
