The grounds are incredible, and beautifully renovated however, when we arrived, we were not given a tour, we later noticed other guests were. The rooms were huge with lots of lovely little extras. The hotel restaurant's food was excellent, and reasonably priced with terrific wines. Breakfast was fab too : lots of choice, fresh and served in a beautiful breakfast room. The hotel is a little isolated but I loved that. Car definitely required. More

The rooms in this hotel are huge by any standard (not just for Italy/Europe). You will definently feel like your in an old Italian structure (you are), but with very modern decor (flat screen, glass enclosed shower, etc..). Staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast is great.
