We have satyed 2 nights at Residenza Kastrum early April 2013 and have really enjoyed it. The view on Cagliari is great and the warm welcome from Michele is fantastic. The rooms are quiet being remote from the traffic. Most of Cagliari is accesible on foot from Residenza Kastrum ( the Cathedral and the Archelogical Museum are next door).

Residenza Kastrum is on the 5th floor of an old building. The entrance (a mere door) onto Via Nicolo Canelles leads into a dark tomb like entrance. This place is in the heart of the old city which makes it great for exploring. If you have car, it's best to get rid of it before coming here or pick it up only when leaving. There are 4 rooms in this property that is located on the top floor of a historic building in the old city. We stayed here for one night in a very spacious room with a view over the city and the sea.
