Pros: Room was immaculate, bed was great, and hotel was on a quiet street that was well located to walk to most sites you'd want to visit. Good security. Staff was very kind and hard working. Cons: breakfast was pitiful and owners often couldn't be found for information on how to get around town. When asked to pay in cash,... More

My wife found the B&B by accident after the satnav failed and we took a wrong turn in the city and got lost. The receptionist was wonderful, she found a neighbour who located me in the car and guided me around the maze of narrow streets to a safe parking spot outside the B&B. The B&B is is a quiet... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for your comment: in fact we have improved the quality of beds and increased choice of products offered at breakfast. The kindness and courtesy of the receptionists have always been a strong point of our b & b. We hope to welcome you again, and surprise you with new attention. See you soon Donatella Petronio More

This B&B is a nifty little find in the La Kalsa quarter of Palermo. My stay was in a ground floor room inside the courtyard and the room which was clean and comfortable and quiet enough. The staff is terrific and the breakfast is good and in a spacious room. The B&B is tucked away next to the open space... More

When I was booking my accommodation on the internet the owner Donatella was efficient, and offered me an excellent deal. I arrived in Palermo after 30 hours travelling from Australia. At midnight I was greeted warmly by Sailen and shown to my delightful room. This was to be my home for a week. My bedroom and bathroom, on the ground... More

It could be a very nice place with friendly staff and owners, but the bed in our room was terrible, the 2 nights there were therefore not very comfortable ones. Windowless room, and building works going on in the b&b meant we were quite happy to leave. The coffee was terrible, too. More

Palermo, Bed and breakfast Al Giardina Dell´ Alloro, Date: 8.-11.03.2010 Reviewer: A Trip-Advisor member, Tromsø, Norway I arrived very late in the night after hours of delay and I was prepared for a long walk in the dark streets of Palermo (never been there before) trying to find the b&b Al Giardina Dell´ Alloro. I got off the bus and... More

I was in Sicily for 8 days, and the 3 days that I spent in Palermo at this bed and breakfast were the highlight. The B&B is warm and friendly. The courtyard and common areas are beautiful and welcoming. And the owner and staff made me feel like I was part of the family. Donatella (the owner) made sure we... More

J spent a night in what seemed to be a cozy warm hotel and J found myself on a different place, without previous warning. A room in Via Alloro, totally cut out from the courtyard, if any. No private parking place. Poor breakfast. Should cost half the price they ask, but the bed is comfy. More

We hoped for a cozy B&B in our trip to Palermo, and this one was clearly a mistake. The biggest complaint was the intolerable noise coming from upstairs which could happen anytime from early morning. First kids running and shouting around, then chairs moving like in a party and lastly, kind neighbors exercising their singing skills. And if that was... More

The facts told by the author, named “Arkaini”, in the review are totally unfounded or referred to another B & B visited by him. In fact our rooms lead into a private courtyard closed to outsiders where you cannot hear noises or cars or "motorini" or children. In September, due to bad weather that hit Sicily, we had very few... More

My family and I spent Christmas in Palermo at this Bed and Breakfast. It could not have been any cozier. We felt right at home. The colors of the rooms and the coziness of the whole place was amazing! More
