It is tough to beat the views offered by the Giggiulena B&B, as it is nestled amongst cliffs that overlook the Ionian Sea. I had a hard time deciding which I like better: Sitting on our balcony listening to the waves crash against the rocks, or enjoying the view while eating the tasty breakfast in the common room. Luckily, both... More

Thee joy of this B&B is not just the pleasant, always smiling, always helpful host Sabrina. Nor is it the wonderful rooms with their own balcony or the views of a sea that needs to be framed and ensconed in the Louvre for all to see. But it is the combination of all of the above. Could not ask for... More

We stayed in early November during some very wild weather. The sound of the sea and the wind made our first night a bit scary but also an amaing experience. Sabrina is a great hostess, you couldnt ask for a nicer person to look after you. We decided to stay in on our first night due to the weather and... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early October. The B & B was actually built by the owner's (Sabrina) father and she advised that she had a lot of input into the design. There is certainly a wow factor when you first step through the doorway into the large lounge area and get your first glimpse of the sea through... More

This is a truly divine bed & breakfast hotel in Siracusa. It is set on the edge of the sea north of the city centre. Our bedroom was 2 floors below street level with a balcony opening straight onto the rocks below the hotel (there was another floor below us even closer to the rocks). Night and day we heard... More

I've never before stayed in a room with a balcony just feet above the sea - brilliant, especially as we had some very stormy weather. There was even a kingfisher flying backwards and forwards on our last day. Our bedroom itself (Swordfish Room) was great - spacious, light, nicely decorated with a seasidey sort of theme and a large bathroom.... More

This is a unique place. A "must-go", just for the pleasure to fall asleep lulled by the waves. The location is great. Just above the sea. Not too far away from the city centre (15 min. walk). Parking place available in the (safe) street if you do not have a reservation. Superb breakfast (taken on the balcony overlooking the sea)... More

Sabrina and her staff were really friendly and made for a most enjoyable stay. The room was clean, spacious and had excellent views of the sea. The breakfast was very good and could be taken on the balcony or in the communal area which also had stunning views. The rooftop terrace provided sunbeds and umbrellas. You could get access to the... We spent 3 nights here and wish we stayed longer. The location was excellent and the staff were amazing..great tips of what to see in the area. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The hotel has beach shoes, mats, snorkel equipment etc which you can borrow. You can snorkel off the rocks right at the hotel.... More

I chose this place because of the outstanding location and simplicity - Giuggiulena fitted with my requirements to start this particular holiday and it has absolutely lived up to my expectations. Sabrina and Luisa run Villa Giuggiulena meticulously. Spotlessly clean, crisp linens, absolute sea view and the chance to swim directly from the Villa in the emerald waters is quite... More
