This is a nicely appointed small hotel with parking and easy to reach. Close to bus (to get to Castelmola for example) and tram to get to the beach. Breakfast is super good...even eggs and bacon! Lovely family-run hotel in an excellent location. Nice room, small but very comfortable. Bathroom well equipped, good breakfast, very good bar service. Extremely helpful staff who carried our bags, served drinks in the garden room outside, answered questions in several languages. Free internet, and the pre-booked parking space was waiting for us. So I booked the hotel reading good reviews from this site. I was not aware that the hotel did NOT have an elevator. When I checked in, we were offered for a room with view/balcony for 20 euros additional a night....it was on the top (5th) floor, without elevator, and we took the upgrade anyway. Apart from the name which doesn't remind too much of Sicily, it is a great hotel to stay in Taormina. It is very simple with an excellent location, close to the city center and to the cable car that takes you to Isola Bella and other beaches.
