We're so glad we decided to stay at A Casa di Olivo! We didn't have a car, so it took a little while to get back from the city, but it's an easy trip (just one bus ride and a little bit of walking, no transfers necessary) nonetheless. And I wouldn't have traded it. It was wonderful having such a... More

Although only 10 minutes drive from Florence's Duomo, A Casa di Olivo is a perfect oasis of quiet and tranquility. Laura and Mauro gave us free rein of their property; the view from the top of the olive orchard is spectacular, and one you couldn't find anywhere else. Our party of 7 took up all 3 rooms, so we felt... More

We loved staying at the Casa di Olivo. The owers have an olive grove and press their own olive oil. We saw their tools in the cellar of the house. They were so nice and have a wonderful bed and breakfast. They had breakfast for us early because we needed to check out early, gave us directions, and even gave... More

Laura & Mauro were lovely- and they're dog Rocco was too! The house was great and the room, spacious and clean. Although the property was close to the train with some noise, it was quiet throughout the night. Laura ensured we were comfy & was a delight to deal with

Tripadvisor reviews never lie... We had an excellent stay at A casa di Olivo. The room was quiet and had a tv, clean bathroom and airco. The only thing we missed is a bit of cheese at the breakfast, otherwise all was fine and sufficient. Laura and Mauro are both helpful people and they have a lovely dog named Rocco.... More

Our family (parents and 3 children) had a wonderful stay at the Casa di Olivio for 3 nights in August. It is a great value for the money. The rooms and bathrooms in this beautiful stone house are modern, clean and big. Since the house is just outside the city, the surroundings are calm are quiet - it feels like... More

We recently traveled through Italy by car and spent one night at this lovely bed and breakfast in the hills above Florence. It is only some minutes’ drive to town and all the sights Florence has to offer. It is up a private narrow road and next door to a castle complete with its own olive grove high on a... More

We went to Florence for the Springsteen concert and we stayed a couple of days more. The place is just outside Florence, but placed in and incredible position over the hills, with olive trees all around and a quiet you won't find anywhere else in this town. Laura & Mauro were great guests, they made everything to help and assist... More

We stayed here 4 nights in June and used it as a base to explore Florence city and the Tuscan countryside. The house is super lovely! It is in the countryside just a little outside of Florence city itself (about 20mins drive), and yet, we get to enjoy the great views and feel of living in a countryside! It has... More
