My fiancé and I stayed at Golf hotel on 13 of may 2012 . The hotel is old, but clean with renovated bathroom , breakfast , free parking and amazing location. It took us under 15 minutes to get to Il Duomo! Much better than expected!!!!! More

We stayed here for three nights whilst touring around Tuscany. The rooms here are very small and shabbily decorated. On the plus side, the bathroom was very clean but the shelves in our room were thick with dust, the decoration was poor and in mild disrepair. The biggest problem here is the noise. Walls and floors are obviously very thin... More

Hotel Golf in Florence was billed as a mid-scale hotel teeming with amenities. In reality, it was little better than a hostel. The beds were comparable to those you might find in a college dorm room, complete with thin, woolen blankets. Only one (metal!) key is available per room, and management is not keen to unlock doors when your companion... More

Such a disappointing end to an otherwise wonderful trip around Tuscany. There is nothing to recommend about this hotel. The room was awful, two horrible beds pushed together and sold as a double, dirty and dated decor, disgusting breakfast, bad location and the single rudest and least helpful staff of the whole trip. Stay away! More

We stayed at Hotel Golf in 2010 (so quite some time ago now!) for a long-ish trip to Florence. I think it would be more ideally suited for a shorter trip, particularly if you have a car since the secure parking is a bonus. Nonetheless, being near the station and central bus depot is really handy if you're travelling via... More

It's located in good place to walk around Florence even if it's near train station and main road. Windows are well isolated so, there is no noise inside the room even if a lot of traffic outside. it's easy to come at hotel by train and walk around as tourists. Reception is medium: not very kind but he does the... More

I stayed here before in '07 as a group from college. I enjoyed it so much I stayed here again earlier this year with my boyfriend on yet another trip with my classmates from Uni. It is located very close to the train station. On leaving we had to take a taxi due to the heavy rain. Florence the city... More

We've booked this place through recommendation and having read reviews but our personal experience somewhat different from some reviews here. We originally booked for two nights and ended up moving after one night stay. We arrived by train and walk from the station which is quite easy, the location is not very nice and it seems like the hotel is... More

Till now no one as reported to us any trouble about our neighbourhood, we are sorry that the client had such a strange feeling. Porterage service is not required for a three star Hotel, however if the guest would have asked, we surely had helped her/him. All the rooms are well equipped with large window. The bread for breakfast is... More

This place looks like a dump from the outside. The lobby is shabby and the rooms look like you stepped into the 1960s. Small rooms with small bathrooms. However, it was very clean, and with very helpful staff. They will park your car for you if the lot gets too crowded. Very knowledgeable staff. The breakfast was good. Basically, you... More
