This hotel is just 2 blocks from the Duomo and 1 block from the Accademia. It's an excellent location. The people at the front desk were very helpful and amazingly friendly. The room was relatively large and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there in the future.

An excellent introduction to a fabulous city. The hotel was ideally situated, close to all major tourist attractions. Rooms were tastefully decorated with Antique furniture, ours overlooked a courtyard where we witnessed a local family playing with their dog, most enchanting. The organic products from their farm created the most delicous breakfast buffet.

Just returned home yesterday after spending 4 nights at this boutique hotel. The room was bright, spacious and clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable, with the only slight problem being the pillows (too flat - just not what we are used to). At the reception a very pleasant staff. Definitely would go back to this hotel.

Il Guelfo Biano was selected for us as an accommodation for my husband's conference. The conference organizer chose wisely. The hotel was in a terrific location for exploring Florence, yet just far enough away from the Duomo maddness. The staff was incredibly helpful, the breakfasts were fresh and yummy, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
