It is a nice, historical hotel, with a small but beautiful terrace over the rooftops of the city. The hotel is clean, the service is good and the rooms are pretty, even if we can hear the "sound of the street" (if the room is on the street side). The most remarkable, however, is the hotel's decoration : feels like... More

Stayed at Hotel Tornabuoni Beacci for two nights. Elegant hotel with lots of character. I really don't see how any two rooms could be the same here. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Note to someone that has problems with steps - you either want to avoid this hotel or you want to be very clear that you... More

First time ever in Europe so was not sure what to expect. Booked this hotel based on reviews here and was not disappointed. Spacious, clean room with new bathroom, complimentary breakfast and internet but the best part was the location. Hotel was walking distance from all attractions....Piazza Michelangelo, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace, Duomo as well as THE BEST... More

The location is definitely a plus - walking distance from the Santa Maria Novella train station and to so many sites in Florence. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated and we had two full baths! It was perfect for our family. The terrace, lounge and breakfast area on the 4th floor were exceptional. What a way to start the... More

Stayed there for 4 nights and it was absolutely amazing. Room was fantastic, as were the staff, and the terrace outside was great for morning coffee. Perfect location too. More

Having stayed here two years ago, we were excited to return to this homey, gracious and beautiful former palazzo. However, we were disappointed to be placed in a small and fairly austere room on one of the lower floors recently acquired/developed by the hotel. But the heart of the hotel is the fourth floor -- with its antique furnishings, breakfast... More

We spent four days in this hotel. I do highly  recommend it taking into account its central location and overall value. It is situated on a nice and safe street, similar to Bond Street or Regent Street in London. However, it would not compare to a UK's four star hotel. I was especially dissatisfied with the breakfast hall. It is... More

We stayed here in August 2010. We caught the train from Venice and were able to walk from the station to the hotel with 2 large suitcases and hand luggage. Check in was easy and the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly helpful with all aspects of our stay - sightseing, restaurant recommendations, and car hire for our onward... More

I hesitate to add my five star review because I fear on my next visit it will be fully booked. I felt as though I were a guest in a palazzo. The winding corridors, decor of public spaces and individual rooms are just what the Medici would have offered - with the addition of modern baths, firm beds and heating.... More

During our trip through Europe, and Italy in specific, we stayed in Rome, Florence, And Venice. Florence was our second stop, and after our small hotel in Rome during this trip which didn't fully meet my expectations, I was a little concerned about Beacci as I didn't know much about Florence, and I didn't look at many pictures of the...
