We stayed two nights in one of Una's Classic rooms. These are seriously cool, unique, little rooms! Their ultra-modern theme contrasts sharply to Florence's rich historic sites, making it nice to come "home" to after a day of exploring. The fiber optic lighting in the walls around the bed alone makes it worth staying here. For 30 Euro a night... More

An excellent hotel which was the basis for a very successful trip to Florence. I thoroughly endorse all the good things that others have said about the hotel - we could find no fault with it and recommend it most strongly. Two tips. The hotel runs a timetabled shuttle service to and from the Central station. If arriving from Pisa... More

Special trip to florence for husbands 40th last week. This hotel was fantastic. The staff were helpful, polite and so efficient. The breakfast was so tasty and fresh and, the room was wonderful. Told staff about occassion and left a bottle spumante in an icebucket in the room. My only downpoint was that I could not get a booking in... More

This hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk from the Vittoria bridge so basically at one end of Florence. It was about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Vecchio bridge but as the sites are quite spread out around Florence and you plan to see them, then you will be doing some walking anyway so it's position was fine by... My fiance and I arrived here late at night after a long days travelling and 1st impressions were great. Check in was swift and efficient. The lobby area is really cool and funky. We went up to our room which was just as crazy and funky! LED lights in headboard, monochrome huge bathroom, bar at the end of the bed,... More

I was in the hotel for my honeymoon with my wife and our experience of the original design of the rooms and the other hotel facilities was exquisite :) Frontdesk staff were also helpful and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable as we expected when we were browsing for hotels to choose for our honeymoon trip to Italy.... If Virgin had a hotel in Firenze, it would probably be this. Traveled with my 9 yr daughter and she thought this was the best looking room out of our entire European trip. We had a superior room that was oddly layed out but good size. It had starlight walls, rain shower head, and very deep sit in tub. As... More

It is a 30 minute walk to the center of Florence though. The hotel is really nice, breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are small but very confortable and the beds and linen are great. Staff is helpful. We had a very good... More

Excellent value hotel and highly recommended. Located 15 mins walk from main tourist area, but this was a perfect way to escape the crowds. Interesting design throughout the hotel which gave a funky feel, staff were very friendly and attentive and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Also local area has some good restaurants, walk from main train station is only... More

The hotel is far from the center of the city, but you can walk for 15 min to get there. The room is well decorated, but mine was dark, difficult to read there. The breakfast is great (with complimentary sparkling wine), as the food in the restaurant. The only problem was the very expensive wi-fi and parking. It worths the... More
