Sometimes you just know from the moment you walk in. There was a strange atmosphere at the check-in desk. We missed the true 'welcome' we've gotten so many times at other, similar hotels. This hotel is in Oltrarno which doesn't look like an obvious place to stay for tourists; not very close to the main tourist attractions and city centre. Really friendly staff and we were really impressed with the room we stayed in. Reception staff were always happy to help. “Good concept”

We loved the concept and were really excited by the gay-friendly atmosphere, the decor and funky rooms. Bright airy breakfast room, good choice of breakfast. Not great location, its quite difficult to find your own way into the Florence from this area and was a long walk from the train station.
