I would reccomend any traveller never to stay in this horrible establishment. Its medieval credentials did it no favours,on the contrary,it was the gloomiest most uugly hotel imaginable. The receptionist looked embaressed to be there.Huge flags decorated the dark, vaulted walls of the sinister entrance. No porter assisted us with baggage.No-one was on duty after 7.30pm.After 7.30pm the lifts did not work either.Coming back...

This place is beyond dreadful. I booked because I was charmed by the notion of a historic former monastery and it supposedly had parking. I have stayed in quirky old properties before. This was not in that category. It was dirty. There was only one power outlet, which was already occupied by the clock. The shower consisted of a drain...

We stayed 6 nights; staff friendly, good breakfast, great coffee. We got the infamous bathroom with shower/toillet together (common in small albergos in Italy). We requested another room without a problem we were changed to the one next to the front desk, clean, good size, tile floor but no mirror in the room, with a window facing the Piazza.

50-75m or so from the major bus plaza, approx 7-10 min walk to the main square the heart of Siena, the convenience and friendly help from the staff more than make up for any complaints about noise (i admit-noise=action...). Happy to have a breakfast before setting out each day. All the buses go here, can get anywhere, walk all around...

The hotel offer all kind of services you need for your stay in Siena. The breakfast was very good. We also loved the noise around the hotel - the noise gave us the feeling of being in the heart of ITALY.

We liked this hotel - easy to find (we drove). Free parking a few blocks away. Right inside the city walls - very charming at night. The room was a bit small, but comfortable. The bathroom was quite small, especially the shower area but we worked it out. Great central location to do day trips to other parts of Tuscany....

We booked this hotel for one night, it was cheap in comparison to other hotel accommodation in Siena.
The hotel in general was tired, worn out, depressing and dark. The carpets in the hotel were dreadful and it smelt of stale cigarettes. That said it was as clean as possible.
Our room had its own toilet, sink and shower, however...
