My daughter and I stayed here and it 100% made our entire vacation. They were like family. We knew all of the staff and they knew us. It had a great breakfast daily with expresso, so we were set. The room had a gorgeous patio which felt like a full apartment. I did laundry and hung it outside. I miss... More

Booked late notice the night b4 online. Worked well. We caught the train to Siena. Once you arrived you take a long ride on a series of escalators which brings you close to one of the entrances to the walked city. The hotel is about a 50m walk in the other direction. So location is a plus if you are... More

Location: this hotel is close to the train staton ( which is at the bottom of the hill, but new escalators makes it easy to get to the top). The hotel is ca 50 metres from the exit of the escalators. It takes around 15-20 mins to walk to the main town square, which is not bad as the walk... More

apparently family run and nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to do the extra all speaking excellent English. Free upgrade but could have been done to keep us away from the noisy road at the front of the premises. Break fast excellent a cornucopia of delights hot and cold. If travelling by train off at... Dear PunchyEngland, thanks for sharing your kind review and for giving me the chance to say something more about Hotel Italia. We didn’t upgrade you to avoid the front side, we just use to do it if we have better rooms available upon arrival, it’s nice to give a better service cost “0” if we have the possibility ! About... We recently stayed at Hotel Italia. The hotel is a little way out of the centre of Sienna, probably about 10-15 minute walk, but we quite like walking and didn’t find this a problem. The bonus side to this was they were just down from the train station. The room was very modern and very clean. A large TV with... More

we arrived from rome via train and therefore chose this hotel as it was only a 15 minute walk from the top of the escalator of the shopping mall accross from the station. the hotel is also outside of the busy city center, yet only a 25 minute walk from all the side streets and sites. the breakfast has a... We were very impressed by this hotel. Room was spotlessly clean and staff were more than helpful. They even let me practise my very halting Italian.! With a bus stop right outside the hotel the location was perfect and if you felt like a walk it wasn't too far to the centre. The only minust at breakfast was the coffee... More

a group of 8 of us stayed here a few months ago, and loved it. We had a room in the older section, and it was fairly small, but very clean and quaint. We spent 3 nights during recent vacation at this hotel. There was no problem to park the car in the street near the hotel. The hotel is modern, clean, with pretty large rooms with very comfortable beds and a large modern bathroom which is not the case for many italian hotels. The only thing that disturbed was the noisy street.... More
