I love the rooms as I am a big fan of non-carpeted floors and clean sheets and toilets. The space that we got is not that big but I enjoyed my stay mainly because of the cleanliness and convenience. It is located in the historic center and everything is walking distance. From the train station, you either take the bus... More

We have chosen Cannon D’Oro through trip advisor and, despite some of the bad commentary from some years ago, we felt that the responses were proper and decided to give it a shot. Well, the experience was not the greatest… They are the “but” hotel. They claim to have parking nearby, BUT thay fail to indicate that it is almost... More

Great location, good service, clean and quiet. A very good option to stay a couple of nights. The double room is not too spacious but you can have free wi-fi that worked perfectly fine for me. More

We booked this hotel because of many good comments from tripsadvisor. We were very disappointed as we booked a twin room and a single room in this hotel for one night after travelling from Florence in January 2012. The hotel receptionist (bareheaded man) in day time seemed to be not so helpful. We were assigned a single room and a... More

I stayed twice in this hotel. It's my favourite hotel in Siena because it is cheap (compared to the rest) and has a great price/quality relationship. It is located in the very center, five minutes walking to Piazza del Campo. It is very quiet at night, and it is also extremely clean. It was recently renovated so it looks very... More

We visited Siena in Oct 2011. We just basically walked off the street, asked if they had a room, looked at it - stayed for 2 nights. The room was quite small, but that didn't really matter for a few nights - not as if we needed to unpack everything! It was clean, ample number of towels, blankets etc. A... More

We stayed one night. The host was very kind and helpful. He recommended us to a restaurant that was the best meal we had in Italy. The rooms were average size probably quite large by europe's standards. The Wi Fi did not work in rooms which was a hassle for me since were were trying to line up wine tastings... More

After reading the other reviews, I requested a quiet room, and it was practically silent. (We were travelling in mid-October) though I imagine it wouldn't have been if it was packed with students or something. But it wasn't. Everyone in the breakfast room was about middle-aged. Decent value for the location. (although it's rather expensive to stay in Siena, compared... More

If you want somewhere reasonably priced and perfectly located in the old part of Siena, then this is the place for you. It is near the bus station and shops, restaurants and a very good supermarket. Plain white walls and simple rooms are quite a basic decor. The breakfast room is difficult to find and has no windows. Breakfasts are... More

I enjoyed my stay in Siena and the hotel was in a good central location. We weren't too impressed with the restaurant recommendation provided by the staff. It's a basic hotel and for the price it was a good place to stay for the night. It is a bit of a walk to get to the train station but it... More
