We stayed in another budget accommodation out of the centre and ended up paying 30 euros in taxis and had to put up with pretty unhelpful staff. It was a mistake. We moved to Sant Ercolano and the staff were amazingly helpful, it was so very central, right by the minimetro, close to museums, restaurants, bars, late night cafes... everything... More

I would reccomend san Ercolano hotel to everyone because of few different reasons. First, the hotel prices are cheap regarding the fact that it is located in the center of historical core of Perugia. Second, the staff there is extremely nice and helpful. First day I had a problem with closing the doors wich led to the terrace wich was... More

We stayed for one night and found it very convenient for the tour of the city center as we had free parking nearby and the hotel is close to the major touristic points of Perugia. Staff was nice and helpful, room simple but comfy and clean. A great price for the quality of the place. I would recommend it. (We... More

Location in the old city, no access by car, free street parking 5-10 min distant, friendly & helpful English-speaking receptionist, elevator . Small room, the so-called double bed was really two steel cots; one had old steel springs, the other plywood under the mattress. The wardrobe was falling apart. The bathroom was serviceable, although small. Overall cleanliness good. The breakfast... More

At 45 Euros per night, this was certainly a bargain, located down the street from the Pinchetto MiniMetro station in the center of Perugia. That is the only positive I can think of for this hotel, as their "ceiling fan" turned out to be a cheap regular fan that worked about as well as waving a piece of paper in... More

Our room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable, more comfortable than most hotels in this price range. Tiny bathroom was the main drawback, as well as some noise from other rooms (TV noise, snoring). Free password protected WiFi was a plus. Location was convenient to the old town although you do have to walk uphill for a few... More

The two best things this place has going for it are it's very low prices and central location. To be fair, they were in the middle of renovations (we were staying there in the off season) while we were staying, and so were given a small, dirty room with a not very accommodating bathroom. We had a car, and parking... More

I stayed at the Hotel Sant' Ercolano for four nights. This is a budget hotel so do not expect anything remotely fancy or you'll be very disappointed. The standout is the very helpful staff. The room is small and a little cramped but otherwise very clean. I was given a room which opened to a courtyard which was shared with... More
