“Amazing views, but lacking that special something”

We stayed here because we got a very good deal on this hotel, it's location, and it's reviews. According to the owner (who speaks Italian, Spanish, and English), it is a 1,000 year old monestary and where the bedrooms are, used to be rooms for the monks (ask for a short tour when you arrive). We spent a night in this old beautifully restored hermitage high on slopes of Monte Tezio. We had an adventure finding it - it was difficult for an English couple but perhaps that was down to us.
