I thought arriving in Engelberg off season, it would be very difficult to find a good hotel. Engelberg is a very small town. However its excellent for skiing. The hotel is located right in fron of ski rental shop. So you dont have to carry your equipment around town. Beautiful hotel, very helpful service, modern but cosy design, location in the town centre and good kitchen made it a perfect place for a ski weekend stay in Switzerland. We loved it and hope to come back soon. It's only a one hour drive from Zurich airport:)
