What a disappointment! We were recommended to book a table here but the cheese fondue was liquid and dull, the bread cut in far too big cubes, the service disastrous and the wine tasteless. Such a pity as the setting is inviting and the view very romantic.

I had great vacation there. - They provide shuttle to train station and ski lifts - Good sauna - Great atmosphere and service they don't have shoe driers but I was told that it is not common in Switzerland. It was strange for m,e since how can I dry my snowboard shoes?

Great breakfast and in general, great food. The best view of Engelberg. Very nice and cooperative staff, it is great to have the hotel staff pick you up at the end of the sky day and you have to carry the heavy sky gear.

Stayed here for 5 days skiing at Engelberg and Andermatt. As a vegetarian travelling where the menus are limited can be a problem, not here. located on a hillock, the hotel offers excellent views. It has traditional swiss looks and staff are very cooperative. Ideally located to visit mt.titlis. It snowed during our stay and the staff helped in grtting into and out of hotel.

I spent one night at this place as part of school tour (pity the rest of the guests). I was the only chaperone who required a single room. I opened my door to find a small cot and a sink. My cousin and I booked for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our time in the hotel. All personel was very friendly and some of them spoke very good english. We had some requests but no problems whatsoever. To go to the slopes it is a 15 min walk with snowboard boots or just ask the reception to bring you.... More
