The good news is that the room was clean, and the staff (when they were around) were friendly. Otherwise, I'd probably avoid this place unless it was significantly cheaper than anything else. The hotel is located about 20 min walk from Lucerne train station. The walk is along the beautiful edge of Lake Lucerne and is extremely pleasent. The hotel is very basic. Looks like a dormitory. The bathroom was tiny. Everything was clean. Breakfast was ok. Continental. The hotel is located about 10 minutes bus ride from the centre of town. Just across it a huge supermarket. The establishment had no attendant after 8 pm. We were only there one night. It's ok, not homey.
