Because of a booking error I ended up at this hotel after arriving at the Ibis and finding that I had input the wrong date for my stay. I stayed a month at the sommerau while working in chur and was treated very well. The rooms are huge by european standards-beds are comfy with down pillows and comforters. Rooms have a back yard of sorts-glass patio door/window along one entire wall, with garden area and lounge chairs. Room has all modern amentities including safe and towel warming rack.... More

I lived at this hotel for a long time. I liked the fact that it's more like a house than a hotel. The reception area is seperated from the rooms-building. It is especially nice in the summer when they plant flowers outside the hotel room's door. The hotel was renovated recently. Plenty of parkig lots are available. Staff are friendly... More
