I stayed in the City Garden on a number of occasions between Sept 2012 and Dec 2012. This is the sister hotel to the Park Hotel in Zug. Both are very similar in quality and service. The rooms are slightly more modern in the City Garden ‘v’ the Park and fully air-conditioned. There’s a small bar area and very nice... More

Very good business hotel with a classy restaurant and bar area, fabulous (if expensive!) food, good service and modern comfortable rooms. The bathroom is a little weird, with the sink, mirror and towels on a unit that separates the bedroom from the shower and toilet cubicles, but it worked quite well. No complaints and would return when travelling on business!

Stayed here for a few nights last month. The room was very odd it was like being in a bedsit. There's no separate bathroom, the washbasin is built into a counter that runs alongside the bed with the loo behind a mirrored door and the shower next to that, all the other side of this counter. So you have a... More

I went to Zug for business, and ended up really liking the place. It's perfect for a weekend trip. This hotel has bags of style that feels and looks expensive. All angular lines and brushed concrete. A nice little terrace outside the bar was a nice place to have a per-dinner drink. This is one of the few hotels I... More

Roughly a 10 minute walk from the train station in Zug but tugged in a quiet neighborhood. Hotel is modern and comfortable. Room is very clean, decent size, comfortable. Bathroom is open style. Not a problem if you have the room by yourself. Hotel restaurant is pretty good quality - whether it is for breakfast or dinner. Good selections for... More

Just 25 minutes by train (every 30 min is a fast train) from the centre of Zurich on the way to Luzern (another 20 min) you arrive in Zug (Zug is also the German word for train, but foremost the name of this historic small town in cetral Switzerland bevore trains existed) a very friendly town of 20000 people on... Great hotel -- very modern and clean and very friendly staff. Easy to reach on foot from train station. However, since Zug is all about lots of money, it's expensive. 15 minute walk to center of town and lake.

I stayed at the City Garden Hotel for one night whilst working in nearby Baar. The hotel is stylish, the staff are efficient and friendly and the room was comfortable. It was easy to reach from the train station. Overall it was a great place to stay but very expensive (£203) in UK terms. I guess things are pricey in... More

First off, there is not too much to do in Zug, the hotel is located less than two blocks away from the mall and about 4 from the railway station so i guess we can call it centric. The rooms are modern and very clean, with a good housekeeping service. The restaurant is at the lobby and has great service... More

Stayed here for just a night. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The food was good (both dinner and breakfast). The dining area was virtually in the reception area and this coupled with the gloomy black paint made the reception/dining area very cold and gloomy. My biggest issue is that it is a very expensive... More
