I was pleasantly surprised by how much i liked this hostel. The rooms were clean with a sperate wc and shower room, with plenty of hot water all day. Although each room had only bunkbeds, this was fine for our family for a weekend trip. There was space at the end of the room for a table & chairs and... More

I had picked it for the location, as I was attending a dinner nearby. The room was clean, basic as can be expected. I did not sleep too well due to vicinity of the staircase and noises of people returning to their room during the (Saturday)night. The common room is very cozy, with comfy leather chairs, pool table and bar... More

I stayed at the Stayokay Arnhem for a boardgame event and shared a room with 3 other attendees. The front desk staff were not the most friendly, but the bar staff were very chatty and friendly. It is certainly a hostel, nothing too flash or fancy and all the fittings are quite basic and rugged, but I guess they need... More

Nice clean, friendly & helpful stuff, beautiful surroundings, nice meals & generous breakfasts. A bit of town, but worth the ride; could be better indicated. Showers a bit poor, rooms spotless & very cosy. For rustic hut lovers. Quite modern inside. Nice for people with children & todlers. Yes...the price...it seems that the stayokay chain is quite expensive compared to... More

A Youth Hostel that looks almost like a hotel, but Dutch Youth Hostel chain (Stayokay) are more expensive than some other countries chain. However a good stay and an easy 15 minute walk to Burgers Zoo which has a great reputation as zoos go. Also has a bar. More

On our way down to Maastricht, we stopped in Arnhem to check out the "Bridge too Far" that spans the Rhine and was the site of the great battle captured on the film by the same name. We booked the StayOkay Hostel from the states via the Internet and were not disappointed. The hostel, which looks more like a lodge,... More
