One of the few places in town that can accommodate travellers in wheelchairs. Other than that great feature (to us, at least) this reputed hotel is located right opposite to the train station and a ~15 min. walk from the Vrijthof. It offers a breakfast buffet but we went to one of the plentiful cafés around and had a probably... More

Staff at reception were friendly, but unfortunately the girl (and i really mean a girl) who tended to us kept confusing our booking details with someone else who had the same surname. Even when we pointed out it was the wrong name and address (especially when it was booked in my boyfriend's name and she gave us a form with... More

I've been in this hotel for more than 30 days. It is cheap, good service, good rooms. The only thing i would advise is too improve the morning buffet, there is not much of food options, apart from that the hotel is really good and well located in front of the Railway station. More

The first impression was very good, it's a beautiful old building in front of the central trainstation, there are many shops and restaurants around and they have a parking garage. The entrance was as good as the outside of the hotel promised and the staff was friendly and professional. I also liked the decorations in the lobby and the restaurant... More

We stayed there for five days in March 2012. The hotel is across the street from the train station, and within walking distance of downtown where all the shops, restaurants and bars are. The staff is very friendly and the rooms comfortable. They did look a bit outdated, especially when it came to finding electrical outlets. The beds were nice... More

Friendly staff with a sense of humour.Hotel itself does not really look 4 star, certainly not upstairs in the Labyrinth. Our room on 4th floor was nice and peaceful but there was some paper peeling off wall in bedroom and carpet needed a shampoo.Plastic glasses that crack easily on unwrapping in 4 star?No shampoo in bathroom?Carpet in hallways badly needed a vacuum.Hotel... The hotel is located near the station of Maastricht, just 5 minutes walking from the shopping center. At first sight the hotel looks a bit shabby but once you enter it looks very fine & tidy. The staff was very friendly, sometimes even with a nice personal approach. Our room was big & had everything you would expect from a... More

In serious need of a update. Staff were friendly. Rooms and public areas are really looking tired to the point of being uninviting. Breakfast was very poor for the euros paid. Location is great for the station and about a 15 minute walk to the square. The building is lovely its just a shame its not upkept. More

Admittedly it wasn't easy to find hotel rooms in Maastricht last weekend - but a suite in this hotel opposite the station proved a disaster. The dust on the tables could be scraped off, while one listened to the noise from corridors and other rooms, soundproofing being a word that doesn't translate into Limburg-taal. Admittedly the sheets were clean, but... More

This hotel is a good place to stay in Maastricht. Yes, it could need a little updating, but that's also part of the experience. Comprehensive breakfast buffet and a good restaurant with a very friendly staff. The neighbourhood, called Wyck, is trendy and stylish, there are several exclusive shops and good restaurants at a stone's throw. The city centre is... More
