Centrally located, you can walk to most attractions.
Breakfast excellent but expensive. Impressive flower market. Clean but not spotless. Staff disorganized. Check-in very difficult.

A very dated hotel, poor lighting in corridors makes you feel like you are in the 1970s, It has the audacity to rate itself 4*...not a chance. Rooms small, bathrooms grey and old, decor dated....plus the odd plug not fixed properly in the wall etc...stay away

Stayed in the Carlton Hotel for 3 nights in May and i really enjoyed it, i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Many eating joints around - just head out and walk left from the main door. The...

While in Amsterdam I went to three different NH Hotels around Rembrandtplein looking for rates and availability when I returned from a side trip to Germany. At the third location the front desk person had me call their reservation center where I was able to make a reservation at...

I stayed in the hotel last year and I just thought about giving it a review.
I recall when I checked in the hotel, the staff asked me if I woud like to have an upgrade for some extra charge but I didn't want it. The room I got was quite small which didn't bother me. But later at night...

My mother and I recently travelled to a family wedding in the Netherlands and decided to visit Amsterdam for two days after. We booked ourselves into the NH Carlton hotel in the centre of Amsterdam about a month before our stay. Many of the reviews were mixed so I was a bit nervous after we booked out non-refundable rate...but let...
