My husband and I spent 3 nights at the WestCord City Centre Hotel in Amsterdam in mid-May. The hotel is in an excellent location - walking distance to Central Station, many great restaurants, the red light district, and there are tram stops on the street out front to get to places that may be too far to walk. Our room...

Stayed for 3 nights.
Liked: Good location, easy walking distance to centraal station and dam square. Room was decent size, clean and comfortable. Aircon worked well and a few english channels to watch.
Disliked: Glass bathroom wall, shower was cold and occasionally luke warm, we couldnt pick up wifi signal in our room and didnt have a fridge.

My wife and I had a lovely weekend in Amsterdam and stayed here for the duration of our visit. Wherever we travel we usually just use our hotel as our sleeping base in between exploration and that was the same for our stay here.

- security: need to the access...

Conveniently located near Central station & easy to find. Rooms were clean and modern, beds comfy but a little on the small side. Breakfast was simple but freshly made. Only issue is WIFI connection doesn't always work.

We were there for 3 nights. Location suited us - less than 10 minutes walk from Centraal station and close to Dam square - but if you want to spend your time at the museums, choose a different area. It is situated on a fairly busy street but there was no problem from noise and the plus side is that...

As a business traveller who has been fortunate enough to travel and stay in a few hotels you come to expect a certain level of basic necessitates in a hotel. These pretty much define whether or not you are likely to return to a hotel. I have stopped in hotels that maybe fail to hit the heights of 4/5 star...

We are staying at this hotel on business. It tried to be a boutique hotel. The reception was scruffy with stains on the settes the staff were ok but not top at receiving you.The worst thing is the bedrooms we expected them to be small but out deluxe rooms were tiny with the most uncomfortable mattresses I have encountered ever!!! They also...
