We had a wonderful stay! The Herengracht location is perfectly close to lots of great places to shop and eat. But the best part was the staff! Always welcoming and friendly we absolutely loved Michelle and every one of the staff that we spoke to.

This is a glorified - if that - youth hostel. The “lobby” was a bar/restaurant, with a reception desk like a deli counter. No one to help with luggage. Room was very minimalist. I fled after sitting exasperated in the room for 15 minutes, even when it meant forfeiting $2000!

I came to Amsterdam for work and was lucky enough to have been put up in this lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. There is a big lobby with dining and meeting areas. The rooms are small but cosy. I found the bed really comfortable. I borrowed a bike for free one morning which was fun and enabled me to really get around the city - watch out for the other bikes and trams though! I also recommend bringing a phone holder for the handlebars to access the map more easily on the go. Really liked the neighbourhood, which has some great shops, cafe's and streets.

I think it is a lovely, youthful hotel to stay. The lobby is a bit chaotic if you wanna hang out... Rarely available to find a place to sit. One morning we didn't have hot water in the room. So no morning shower... All can be acceptable only if I the rooms were more affordable. When you pay that amount of money you question more...

The location was great but the room was so tiny. Not even room to unzip my suitcase. We spent minimal time in the room so it was fine. The hotel restaurant/ lobby was always absolutely packed. They didnt really make an effort to prioritize guests which was frustrating.

Friendly staff and wonderful rooms. Great and lively restaurant/bar downstairs. Location is perfect and walking distance to most attractions and sights. I also love the shampoo/body wash scent they use. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and will definitely stay again.

I am afraid this hotel needs a serious makeover. Very shabby and tired. Annoying rooms with nowhere to put anything. Disappointing in this day and age not to have a coffee machine in a room. Was recommended by friends but ultimately it wasn’t a great stay.
