I have stayed at this hotel three separte times in the past month and the consistency of level of service and room has been exceptional. Each room was good sized for European standards and very nice and clean on the inside It is close to the Central Rail Station which is very benefical to see the rest of Holland as... More

Charmed by much about this hotel. It's walkable from the central train station, but on a small quiet street. Rooms are nice, large, clean, excellent bathroom. Staff is great, helpful and cheerful. We were on a club level and they provide a vey nice breakfast. I just found it odd that we were in the 9th floor wing, which was... More

This hotel is nice as Amsterdam goes. Very hard to find from the train station. I walked around in 85 degree heat, couldn't find it, nearly got killed by a taxi (a welcome relief in this horrible city), walked back to the train station and took a 12 Euro cab to the hotel. Under no circumstances can anyone on the... More

Three night stay in May 2012...lovely hotel not terribly far from the central rail station but not really close enough to walk if you have more than one piece of luggage. There seems to be a fee for just about every kind of service from local telephone calls to the highest end of transaction fees for services charged on any... More

This Marriott hotel was really nice with many amenities and restaurants, as well as available coffee in the mornings. All the comforts of a nice American hotel with much smaller rooms of course, but you do lose some of the charm of Europe staying at a big chain like this. The rest of our journey we stayed in smaller more... More

Great location - very close to Central Station. Rooms are of a reasonable conference standard, if a little cramped for two ( a challenge to walk round the bed). Some stains on lampshades. View netted off thankfully. When we stayed there was a conference on palliative cancer care which was very well signposted. We weren't attending. Wifi is billable at... More

My wife and I stayed there on April 30 and May 1. As others have noted it is extremely convenient to Central Station. There were no taxis or buses operating into the area since we arrived on Koninginnnedag - Queen's Day so the train from Schipol was the only option. We still were able to make our way to the... More

This was our first trip to Amsterdam and we only had two nights so it was important we stayed in a central location. This hotel was perfect ! A 5 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station, walking distance to Dam Square, red light district, flower market and other attractions. We ate out of the hotel as there were several great... More

the hotel is excellent, few minutes walking distance from the central station, with surrounded f&b. because of the strategic location, all hotspot can be reach by foot easily. we stayed in club room with lounge access. the room is spacious, clean and modern looking. however, the lounge is crowed during breakfast time and cocktail time. my suggestion is... please proceed...
