We have stayed in this hotel as a young couple when visiting Amsterdam. The hotel is very basic with small rooms and small bathroom. This did not bother us as we didn't pay much although after checking other hotels you can get better for a similar price. Check in was ok, receptionist wasn't very pleasant, we asked of we could... I was with a hen party group of 23 girls of all ages. The accommodation was ok, but i felt the slight rocking on occasion which turned my stomach. The bathroom is very small and we were above the bar, which has a jukebox. Although it felt like it was in the room with us some nights. I am torn... More

The hotel is in a very good location however if you want to roll out of your bed in to the streets of Amsterdam then do not book this hotel as you will be disappointed. For my partner and I (who are both 21), the location was easy to find. Once we had reached the airport, we got a train... More

the only interesting thing about it was the boat becoming a hotel. but the rest was not satisfying. very small and not facilitated rooms, very simple area. you should remind you are in a boat if you have any sickness problem with moving surfaces. More

We stayed at the Botel last week-end 19th-22nd April 2012. We were very pleased: the room was clean and comfortable, the bed was large and comfy. Although the bathroom was small it was adequate. It was cleaned daily. The buffet breakfast was good with a large selection, nice coffee too. The ferry from Amsterdam Centraal was reliable, free and frequent.... More

I read many reviews about the Botel before booking and most of them made clear that this would be a good choice for a budget travel. They were right. The rooms are small as a boat cabin would be, but clean, comfortable and equiped with telephone, cable TV, heater and private bathroom ( those are really small but once again,... More

We stayed at the Botel for three nights and found it to be perfectly adequate as far as the accommodation is concerned. The beds are comfy and the rooms are fairly spacious. The shower/toilet is tiny but you expect this on a boat - the shower was better than expected with lovely hot water. The room was cleaned daily, beds... More
