Camping site is very convenient for visiting Amsterdam and easy to access from the ring road, you have to drive over the pavement to get to the access road which makes you question if you are in the right area but once you do this it is obvious where to go. Campsite is clean with friendly staff and plenty of space in February. I only knocked a point off as the main male toilet block toilets were closed leaving the smaller block open but nowhere to brush teeth in the evening. The campsite is well maintained with plenty of water taps around and bikes for hire

Great location, clean facilities, friendly staff who went out of their way to help us when we got locked out of our camper! They have excellent local knowledge and give the best clear directions for a stress free day out. Thankyou for a wonderful time, we will definitely be back x

Clean and easy to access campground. When you arrive, the entrance road has two signs with a big X on them. This was confusing since we are from the US but apparently it means no parking or something. The staff speaks English and other languages well and the coffee is free and very good. The showers are not very hot but they are clean.

I prefer the quieter months there. The location under green trees and close to the ferry and other restaurants directly on the Ij (Hotel de Goudfazant) is perfect. Be sure to visit the unique little street behind it - Nieuwendammerdijk! A little piece of historic Amsterdam. Very idyllic. The staff on site are always super friendly!

We decided to stay here as it was close to Amsterdam CS and walkable. From our Motorhome to the free walking/cycling ferry was about 25 minutes steady walk. You also pass a supermarket for supplies on the way back. Driving to the campsite was relatively easy and great signage dotted around so keep an eye for them. We drove straight onto our site, this information was supplied as soon as payment was confirmed. The email gives address, gate code, site number and wifi code, so no mucking around on arrival which was great. Compared to other places we stayed at it is a bit expensive but you pay for the convenience of location. Nice friendly staff. Who do there best to help you. The facilities are basic but clean, there is also a restaurant on site, but check timings this time of year, we had breakfast there one morning and it was good. How we judge a place is by two ways, would we recommend and would we stay again and the answer to both is yes. Bit of advice if thinking of staying ensure you book, we there Wednesday and Thursday and they were fully booked .

We stayed in a City Cabin. Half the price of a city centre hotel, and we had a wee kitchen which saved a fortune on eating out. Very comfy, clean and warm enough in October weather. Factor in a metro journey from town otherwise it's a long walk. The mini market close by was great and very friendly. Albert Heijn didn't take our credit cards so it was a lifesaver!

Friendly staff, uncomplicated stay. The place is located 20-25 Minutes Bike ride in combination with a free and frequently running ferry to city centre. Nice if you want to avoid the busy place from time to time. There are Boxes for Calpervans, bigger Caravans and also for tents.
