Excellent hotel in a perfect location. The apartments for 6 people are a dream. The hotel staff very helpful and always cheerful. Five of us booked to stay in the City Hotel and found it to be exactly what we paid for. No frills, but no fuss either. Centrally located, easy going staff and a place to crash. Nothing special, but no massive complaints either. Oh, don't buy the crisps when you're drunk. They're expensive.

Reception staff very helpful, some buiding work going on when we were there but very little disruption and handled well by staff. Room small but not a problem bed extremely comfortable good continental breakfast, would return next time in Amsterdam.
