This bed and breakfast is a minute's walk from the Royal Palace at Dam Square. The rooms on the upper floors have magnificent views of the palace and the skyline of this wonderful old city. You are in the heart of Amsterdam. This bed and breakfast has beautiful rooms and suites with high ceilings and very big windows. You can gaze at all the dynamism of the city from the vantage point of your suite and enjoy Amsterdam's changing scenery.
My husband and I spent 3 nights there as we wanted to explore the city. The apartment ticked all the boxes, nice clean room, comfortable and the most importantly an amazing location. We were so close to the center that the exploring became effortless and we hardly used any transportation to go around. Rudy was very helpful and he provided us useful information for places to go. The whole experience was great and we wouldn't hesitate to book again!

This lovely spacious apartment/ b and b lives up to the reviews. Great location, friendly hosts and large breakfast is a great find for a long weeekend. The apartment was big enough for 3 friends to stay and we will definitely be going back. The green door is easy to find. There are lovely coffee shops and restaurants if you turn right and walk down the main road or turn right and then an immediate left to head onto the picture perfect canals. Walking from central station is quick and easy. The only think to be aware of is taking earplugs if you are sleeping in the lounge as the bin men come a bit early in the road outside.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Palace B&B for 5 nights. The location was the most amazing thing - it's easy to find, located in the heart of the city, just a couple minutes walk from the famous Dam square. We were also surprised how quiet it was in the street considering its location. The small apartment has everything you could need - there is a fridge, microwave, toaster, safe, hairdryer, there are even toiletries in the bathroom. Every morning we got a bag full of fresh products to enjoy our breakfast, and it was always a nice surprise - buns, bread, waffles, chocolates, energy bars, fruit, donuts, eggs.... We were looking forward getting up every morning because of it! There is also a constant supply of orange juice, water, milk, ham and cheese. One of the best things was to start our day with delicious breakfast at our little table that looks on a small garden. The bathroom and the room were constantly clean and tidy. Both Rudy and Pia were very welcoming and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable! We are definitely coming back to this place next time!…

My Husband and I stayed at the Palace B&B recently for 5 nights while we explored Amsterdam. It's really more of a little apartment than a simple B&B room. You have a frig, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle and a little kitchen table set in front of a lovely window that looks out on a small courtyard garden. Each morning there is a bag waiting at your door with your breakfast-- fresh buns, delicious croissants, fruit, and eggs. You are supplied in the room with coffee, milk, orange juice and all the condiments you might need. It's IDEAL! You are able to have a relaxing breakfast at your little table whenever you want to have it! None of the usual breakfast is served between 7:30 & 9:30! The owners couldn't be more helpful and were very welcoming. The room and bathroom are spotlessly clean and both owners seem to really care about making your stay enjoyable. The location was the most amazing thing. You are right in the heart of the city and there are lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. One thing of note-- there are quite a few stairs to get to the room but that's typical in the tall dutch houses.…

When you arrive at the door on the street you might feel you made a mistake, but no mistake here. It's a perfect location and the apt. Was spacious and we'll appointed. Rudy the owner is kind and very accommodating. The breakfast that arrives at your door every morning is bountiful. It was a great stay.

Me and my partner stayed here for three nights, and we could not fault it at all. The room was clean and tidy, we were provided with toiletries, there was complimentary food in the fridge, and we were supplied with breakfast in the morning. We will be returning in march. 100% recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the Palace for a few nights while visiting Amsterdam recently and were pleasantly surprised. The accomodation is very spacious and has everything you might need. Theres not just a bedroom but a spacious separate living room too, its all very clean and theres oodles of character about the appartment. The breakfast is delivered to your room daily so that you can eat it at the large table while watching the world go by in the street below. The cold continental breakfast is very plentiful and so much was supplied on our first day that we had to ask them to deliver less for the rest of our stay as it would be wasted. Its literally just a couple of minutes walk to Dam Square so very handy for doing the touristy thing. The only slightly negative comments I would make is that if you have bad knees be aware there are a lot of stairs to climb up to reach the appartment and the stairs are very steep. Also we struggled to find the Palace on the day we arrived as there is no signage on the street relating to the property so we walked past it twice in the rain as it is just a green front door between the hairdresser and 'coffee bar'. Rudi owns the hairdressers so if you arrive during the day or early evening thats where you will probably find him. Rudi was very friendly and charming and a very good host. would recommend the Palace if youre looking for good accomodation close to the attractions…

We spent 4 nights in the apartment at the first floor. Location of B&B is great and all major attractions are within walking distance. Even though in the center, street was very quite and the host was very nice and helpful with all our inquiries. Breakfast included plenty of food. Definitely recommend!

A very nice host, very helpful. Good location. Nice room, but not more than that. Very noisy neigbours and very much noise from the street. Noisy floor (made of wood). The breakfast is mainly cold : nice but not too impressive for the price. Very steep stairs. The sheets and towels were not changed every day. In conclusion: i give it a high score if it was a 3 star hotel. He took almost 150 euro per night!!!

Fridge was stocked daily and breakfast was as best a cold breakfast could be. Rudy was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Perfect location, within 5/10 minutes walk from everything, including small supermarket. Cleaned every day with fresh towels. Bed was excellent, feet did stick over the end (6ft3) but was very comfortable. Not having any kind of reception or lounge area was a downside. Made finding the hotel much more difficult, no main front entrance or sign to speak of (Door next to Salon). Coffee-shop next door may keep you awake until 1/2 AM if you're a light sleeper. No hot breakfast was a shame especially on a cold, late November morning. Stairs to the apartment are VERY steep and slope backwards, even before a coffee next door.. Did not meet the famous cat!
