This is the nice hotel wich locates in a quiet area with locals shops, one of them it a cheese shop with a lot of varietes of good quality cheeses, cafes and a restaraunt.The staff was very friendly and helpfull.

Nice and a bit quaint. 'Refurbished' old rooms and matching old floors, tastily and modern done up in white and with new bathrooms. Fantastic beds! Free coffee and tea in room. Location close to lots of cafés and restaurants. Difficult to find parking space for car near by. Will stay there again.

It coud boast its central location but the price is that there is no car park, and don't even try to pay the fee from the impractical, dutch only, cash only park meters... (but the fine is 56€!). Location good, 100 metres from one of main shopping streets, but you get what you pay for-average room, clean and warm but could benefit from chest of drawers for more storage. pleasant location, friendly service, easy to get to main places in Leiden. The hotel itself has some character - but rooms need redecoration/refurbishment and have a slight damp smell. town clock bell (or church, not sure) sounded every hour through the night.

Great central location near restaurants and shopping, but it's all downhill from there. We rented 2 rooms for 5 days. The rooms were clean and tidy visually, however there was an overwhelming smell of mold throughout the building. This is a good hotel but somewhat quirky. I believe the building was once a dance studio, when we arrived we could hear loud music but this was from an adjacent building running a fitness class, it did not go on into the evening or at night.
