Great location for a trip to Antwerp, close to the main Cathedral, bars, restaurants etc. Hotel is modern and comfortable, staff are helpful and friendly ! Complimentary drinks and "nibbles" served daily at 16.00hrs to 20.00 hrs ( a nice touch) !!! Only one negative comment is regarding parking, nearest car park (100 metres to hotel) is 18 Euros per... It started off great! The hotel has a great location right in the boutique shops and close to the big square and the cathedral. You are welcomed with a glass of Cava. So no complaints there. The hall way of the hotel are sinister, the room itself are very bare, some might say modern, I say bare, hospital like, no... More

A perfect location, modern design - simple, but finctional, a friendly crew and everything you need to have a good night's sleep. Great restaurants around it, shops, places to visit. Incredible views over the roofs of the town with huge cruiseships docked a few streets away. Nice breakfast. And a vefry attractive price. More

I stayed in Banks with friends for a weekend city trip in April. Location is great. Rooms are simple and small, but comfortable and clean. Bathroom with bathtub/shower. No AC system, I guess. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. We really enjoyed the complimentery drink and snack the hotel offers in the lounge before going out for dinner. Many shops and... More

The positive of this hotel is also its negative. While within walking distance of some good restaurants and other points of interest, it also means there are a lot of people on the street late at night on the weekend, and it's pretty noisy. I didn't like the arrangement of the bathroom--the sink in the room itself while the tub... More

I paid £342 for 3 nights including local tax, I paid for breakfast but was a little disappointed and only had it once. There is a nice cafe that serves good breakfast on the same street. My room was large, cosy, quirky and in a boutique style, it was an unusual bed set up with two inlets which are classed... More

After checking in we received a complimentary glass of cava. This was nice, but we had to take it immediately as the bar would close at 8pm (on a Saturday!). We enjoyed our cava in the bar next to the fireplace (which was really nice). The size of the room was what you'd expect in New York or London, but... More

Nice hotel, a free aperitif is served all the afternoon with drinks and appetizers, free coffee always available. Rooms are not so big and are very basic. Reception closes early so you have to arrive in time for the check-in. I didn't have problem to park in the street on Saturday afternoon. It's a good address for a city trip. More

We love Antwerp, it is a beautiful city. Hotel Banks is right in the centre, but this is all the positive we can mention. Small rooms and bad service behind the counter. Extremely rude. We specifically asked for a room with a bad, but didn't got that. Not a hotel I would like to recommend. More

Had to stay there on business because all other hotels were booked in town. Very strange hotel. Had to pay all nights in full in advance. One single very slow and small elevator. Front desk is a little stand offish. All staff is gone at 8 pm - which makes me wonder what happens if you lose your pass afterhours.... More
