I stayed for only one night, unfortunately, but it was sufficient to remind me just how good a small hotel like this can be. A genuinely warm welcome from the charming receptionist on checking in, giving all the necessary information, and then when I passed the desk again on my way out a little later she called me across to... Stayed in the Antigone Guest House which is located just behind the hotel ! The hotel is in a great location, close to the Cathedral, shops, restaurants and bars that are all located around the Grote Markt. Easy to find too if you are driving as it is located adjacent to the River Schelde. The guest house is pretty much... More

This hotel has a wonderful location, right on the River Schelde and only 5 minutes walk from the main part of Antwerp. Breakfast was plentiful, ham, cheese, eggs, fruit, cereals, bread. It was excellent. the rooms could do with a little updating, they are very plain, but the bed was comfortable and there was a heater, as I was cold... More

Lovely friendly and quiet hotel on the Kaai, very close to city centre and next door to the famous Docks Cafe fish restaurant which is brilliant. We stayed in a studio which is across the road behind the hotel and was essentially self catering though breakfast was included in the rate and taken in the hotel main building. The studio... More

We booked this hotel primarily because of the location and the (relatively) good price, at 95 euros/night for a double including breakfast. The location was indeed perfect (5 minute walk to Grote Markt), and we were able to park next to the hotel for 15 euros/day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and spoke several languages (Flemish, Dutch, German,... More

The staff here is friendly and helpful and almost make up for the dreariness of the place. The lobby is done in stunningly bad taste, and the rooms are just sad, plain, cheap. Michelin touts the "river views" but neglect to point out that there is a heavily travelled street and a parking lot between the hotel and the river.... More

Booked to stay with our 2 teens thinking we'd get a double and bunk/twin beds. Ended up in the top studio flat (a separate building from the hotel) with two doubles... I have to say it was overpriced for what it was and not especially clean. The stairs up to the top floor are spiral and very steep. Not one... More

Me and my friends stayed in a small apartment for 4 persons (+1extra bed). Big enough for the 5 of us. The room even had a small bar! The service at the hotel was good. They reserved a parkingspace for us next to the hotel, they told us were to sightseeing and the breakfast ladies were very nice! The only... More

We stayed for 4 nights in this excellently located riverside hotel in Antwerp. It is surprisingly, the only one facing the River Schelde. We had an excellent stay. It is a small family run hotel. Our room was a budget double on the to floor. It was large, clean and comfortable. If there was a downside it was that the... More
