This hotel is in 15 min walk from Gand Place and few steps away from North Station of Brussels. Good location but hotel is calling for refurbishing. Once again it proves, that you get what you pay for. More

The Chao Chow palace is located very close to Noord station, this means that noise can be very intrusive. Trains operate til 1am and start up again at 5am, between that you have non stop noise from the main road outside of the hotel (Police sirens etc.), Please check out my pictures and you will see what I mean by... I stay in the hotel at least twice a year sometimes more. The hotel is basic but very well situated very close to everything. The hotel is very clean and well maintained with big bedrooms. The staff are very friendly and very helpfull. It is also great value for money. More

The location is close to the central part of the city. It is near to the metro stop. Basically one can walk to the grand place in about 15-20 mins, which is not too bad. Hotel: an old hotel in average condition. Room is big with reasonable bed and bathrooms with bath tub. However, we notice there's a bad odour... More

This is a really "interesting" place to stay at. First of all, it is right bordering on the city's red-light district, with a sex shop next door. Then it is rather tired looking, with worn carpets and the like. It was also the only time I'd ever ridden an elevator without any door, with the doorway just open. I was... More

This was a depressing, dull room. I booked through an agency and didn't check any reviews. I should have. As a single woman travelling alone this was not a good place to stay - right next to the redlight district. They really cater to an Asian market and one morning the place was absolutely packed with a tour group. Breakfast... More

The hotel is only 3 min. walking distance to North Station, 5 minutes to the big shopping mall called City2 and 15 minutes to Grand Place. Therefore, excellent location if you don't mind being also close to red light district. Indeed, the location of the hotel is very well lit, and you don't have to cross the red light district... More

The hotel is located near a train station and very easy to walk to, even with luggage. Unlike other reviews, we did not walk through the red light district to get there. Walking towards the city centre, no more than a five minute walk to the main shopping centre, the red light district is in the opposite direction and we... More

The hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel and first off: it is not! If anything on the normal scale then a 2 star, and this is why: It has to be said that the rooms are of a decent size, but everything else about them is poor. As we entered our room it was like entering a cooler,... More
