We spent 4 nights in the beginning of May. Martin´s Klooster is located in the historical centre of Leuven. Combines the charm of an ancient convent and the latest modern gadgets. The hotel has 2 wings: one with 40 rooms in the convent (klooster) and more 60 rooms inaugurated in April. We stayed at the brand new wing at room... More

we made a hotelreservation through Booking.com. I asked for a quiet room as I'm not a "good" sleeper, and a spot on their private parking space. My god ! The hotel is in a small (1-direction...) street. So, you drive to the hotel, gets a badge to open the parking barreer, get out of the street backwards !!! Should we... More

We spent 2 nights here in mid-February 2012 & enjoyed it very much, particularly as it's a short few minutes stroll to the lovely cobbled town centre with its many lively bars & restaurants. I think the building may have been an abbey & once inside its small courtyard it's an impressive looking building. Inside it has a sleek designer... More

I've stayed at this hotel several times in the last 4 years and it remains one of my favourite European hotels for ambience and no-nonsense simplicity. It's very well located in a cobbled street just outside the central shopping area of Leuven but within very easy walking distance of all restaurants, and 15mins walk from the station. it's exceptionally cosy... This is a picturesque building with contemporary internals that provides superb quarters for the business traveler. It is a five minute walk to the main restaurant street, city hall and the great market and a little bit longer to get to/from the train station (there are trains about every half hour during daylight hours operating between Leuven and the airport).... I agree with the previous review. We got married at the hotel in 2004. All our guests stayed in the hotel and everyone loved it. We went back this weekend and we were slightly disappointed. The hotel still looks OK but on closer inspection, it needs a thorough spruce up: limescale in the bathrooms, rusty taps, streaked skiting bords. It... More

Since my previous review I stayed multiple times and since ,service level seems to go down. Front desk staff is less personal and friendly, rooms require maintenance - especially bathrooms require extra cleaning.(smell). Hotel is building a new wing , I hope its not going to be the final part of the worsening- in the meanwhile it causes a lot... More

I stayed two nights in this beautifully restored hotel very close to the historic centre of Leuven. It is no more than 20 minutes walk from the station with good bus service if needed. The rooms are well appointed with plenty of room, though a little low on lighting. The hotel is undergoing building work for an underground car park... More

We stayed one night in a charming room: a bit more expensive but worth the money. Since we were travelling with a baby and a todler, this spacious room on the ground floor (#5) was very convenient (easy acces with strollers and babyphone could be received in lobby/hotelbar). Babybed with duvet was set up for free. Please print the route... More

We stayed three nights in this lovely hotel located in the city center. Restaurants in a large variety are close by. We had a (a bit more expensive) so called charming room, it was really charming. If you come by car parking seems somewhat complicated (due to the location), but with the assistance of the hotel staff this can easily... More
